Production Supervisor – Assembly

Summary: First Shift, Production Supervisor – Assembly, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm. Monday – Thursday 

The Production Supervisor – Assembly is a working supervisor position overseeing the assembly work areas.


Job Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor – Assembly 
include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise the assembly production areas
  • Lead the day to day department activities
  • Ensure quality of assembly production
  • Conduct final inspections of all product
  • Packaging and loading of product
  • Meet daily production schedules and customer shipments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
  • Interact in a positive, constructive manner with staff members on all levels within the company.
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.

Position Qualifications: To perform the job of a Production Supervisor – Assembly successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job responsibility listed above satisfactorily in addition to the following:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have previous supervisory experience
  • Must have significant assembly experience, preferably in furniture manufacturing
  • Must be able to work Monday – Thursday 6 am – 430 pm plus any overtime as needed
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent attendance required
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • A proven ability to work in a flexible work environment and adapt to overtime requirements as needed

Job Type: Full-time, Hourly position
